The Everlife Chronicles is a blend of dark fantasy, dystopia, and sci-fi.
I had a lot of fun writing this series, delving into the trope of the chosen one, the great prophecy, and the world of story-building.
The story tells the tale of the Everlife pill, a new invention by the scientist Julian Moore, created as a way to keep the population of Naka immortal.
But there is a catch—
The pill does just that: it prevents death, but if you stop taking it, your body will wither and become necrotic.
The regime is simple—stay in line, and you will receive the Everlife pill. Do not conform, and you will suffer—hunger, thirst, imprisonment, and torture. All without the sweet release of death.

This is where we meet our heroine, Elise Matherstone, a solid, kick-ass character who is an orphan. Elise is one of the guardians of The Wall, tasked with protecting Naka from the invading tribes that live in the desolate Outlands.
Elise’s world is turned upside down when she assaults an Elder, one of the people born before the creation of the Everlife serum, the ones who lived before the Reckoning.
Elise, a member of the new breed, is arrested, and her world is further shaken when she is faced with a terrible choice.

This was a really fun series write, and the story actually started as a philosophical look at death. Religion. The choice to die in a world where death didn’t exist anymore. I had a lot of fun playing with idea, but then I threw in a tyrannical regime, ancient Gods, and mechanical spiders that hunt those that disobey the citadel.

The series is fast-paced and action-packed, with ancient gods, betrayal, love, expansive world-building, dark secrets, and treacherous lies.
